The project is located in the national 4A-level eco-tourism scenic spot of Wuhan City, Hubei Province - the north shore of East Lake, the base three faces the lake, the north is Donghu Wetland Park, the seaside art park, the Nanqi Baicao Water Park, and the East Lake Ecological Art Park, OCT Happy Valley only A clothing belt is the important link between the Art Peninsula, the Wetland Park, the East Lake and the Happy Valley.

The unique location resources make the building and people and the environment blend together, and become the starting point of design goals and modeling. Architects want to create a vibrant venue that attracts more people to travel and stay. It gives people the space to experience and interact with each other, providing an ecological place for people to stop, rest, relax and listen to the sounds of nature.

The design inherits Chu Feng Han Yun, inspired by Hubei bronze rituals, and uses modern and simple language to write the contemporary glory of Jingchu culture. As a sub-center of the Greenway Service, the station has penetrated the past and the present, and embraced the public with a more open attitude. With its extremely muscular body, the public will support a 360-degree open vision and open a new era chapter!

The main function of the building is the ecological display function. The whole building is a one-story building with bicycle parking space. The roof can be opened to the public and directly open to the people to form a more open state and expand the extension of its functional definition. Become a place where people talk to the city.

  Streamline modeling
Catering to the design of the lake, the streamlined shape makes the building more natural. In the overall shape control, the flat line strip avoids the cutting feeling caused by the landscape, and presents a more friendly and dynamic character with natural.
The building volume is minimized to reduce the impact on the wetland park. The ground floor is overhead, and more open public spaces are set up, and the corresponding functions are given to attract people to flow. At the same time, the building can move from the external space to the roof to enhance the interaction between the building and the people.

  Line of sight
The building is completely protected by glass on the side of the lake, which makes the indoor space more transparent. Through the introduction of light into the pavilion, the scene is introduced into the room to create as much space experience as possible in a limited space.

  Fit nature
The building and the landscape are mutually acceptable, and the building is like a lightly placed on the base. When the building is taken away, all the environment will return to its original state.

  Shear wall structure
The building plane is a concave polygon, three entrance façades and three concave curved outer walls. The three entrances are about 22 to 26 m long and about 10 m high. The angles of the concaves in the three curved outer walls are 50°, 100°, and 110°, respectively. At the entrance of the three entrances, a sloping plate is arranged upward to form a platform in the middle of the plane, which is about 4 m high, and an elliptical hole is opened at the intermediate platform. The top of the three entrances is sloping plate down to the plane, the middle part forms a platform, the height is about 7.5m, and the elliptical hole is opened at the middle platform, and is the same as the hole projection of the platform at 4m. There is a spiral staircase from the bottom to the top of the hole, and there is no vertical member at the edge of the hole. In addition to the entrance, the three curved walls are all tribal, the bottom of the wall and the sloping plate are flat. It is proposed to use the reinforced concrete structure to create the shear wall structure system.

  No pillar load bearing
The unique shear wall structure makes the interior of the large space without a pillar, the interior space is more spacious and open, the line of sight is unobstructed, and almost all spaces can create space or line of sight with the central area of the building, enjoying natural light and The comfort of ventilation.

  Bamboo pouring facade
The façade design is inspired by the "Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains", the window is ink, the arc wall is paper, thousands of miles of mountains and rivers, and the vast lake. At the same time, Wuhan bamboo is used as the texture, and the local bamboo branch template is used for pouring, which is integrated into the environment and pays homage to nature.

  ripples roof
The roof of the upper man is like a raindrop that drops into the East Lake, and it seems to hit the lotus leaf and stir up the roof. At the interface of the roof, the building shows a smart side.

  Spiral dome
The completely overhead floor, the extremely tensioned lines, the poetic pure dome, the meditation spiral rises and presents a stretched state. Strolling through the building, you have the opportunity to get a rich and interesting space experience, giving visitors a natural experience.

Landscape Design

  Landscape node
The node-like building connects the ecological park and the art peninsula in series, and also connects the three major lakes.

  Microtopography application
The micro-topography in the front square of the building, combined with some leisure and entertainment features, makes the space of the small square more rich and more vibrant.

  Roof amusement park
The fully open rooftop park gives visitors a 360-degree view of the East Lake while changing the rich and varied roof steps to enhance the fun of the rooftop deck.

Use of green technology


  Roof covering

The roof is covered by the roof, the summer can be insulated from direct sunlight, and the winter can be used for building insulation, which greatly reduces the building energy consumption.

  Shading treatment
The three solid walls are partially hollowed out to avoid reducing sun exposure and reducing building energy consumption.

  Water saving measures
The outdoor pavement of the building adopts permeable bricks to recycle rainwater through water recycling facilities. The indoor sanitary ware adopts water-saving sanitary ware to reduce the loss of water resources.

  Application of energy-saving materials
The building glass adopts highly energy-saving LOW-E glass, which greatly improves the building thermal insulation coefficient and reduces the building energy consumption.

In the architectural design and technical process, we have carried out a variety of ecological architectural design attempts and practices, and strive to create from the perspective of site design, architectural layout, architectural form, architectural details, construction technology, environmental construction, energy utilization, etc. A green ecological building that blends harmoniously with nature reflects the original design ideas and concepts, thus achieving a harmonious and harmonious symbiosis of the building.
